It began in the living room of Rabbi Mendy and Rebbetzin Chaya Harlig's home. Since then, Chabad of Henderson has grown to a warm and welcoming place for all Jewish people, regardless of affiliation, religious observance or experience. Our congregation has continued to flourish and thrive, servicing families in Henderson and beyond.

It is time to build a new home to match our growing community. A 1.9 acre parcel on Carnegie St. has been purchased on which to build a Chabad center of our own. Together, we will build this beautiful Jewish community center for hundreds of Henderson families. 

In conjunction with the move to our new home, we changed our name, simplifying it to Chabad of Henderson. This change has come with our new logo featured below. 

The new Chabad Community Center will be able to expand and enhance our existing services and activities for the growing Jewish community in Henderson and beyond. We will have a pre-school, a social hall, and most importantly, a Mikvah - the first one planned in Henderson.

Our goal is to start building the mikvah and then work from there. This is where you come in...
