Updates on the progress of the building of the Chabad of Henderson Mikvah

It has been a long journey for Chabad of Henderson, but we have set our roots into the ground of our new home.

  • February 25th................... Construction starts!
  • March 6th.......................... Mikvahs dug in the ground
  • March 9th.......................... Holes are prepared for frame installation
  • March 12th........................ Frames begin installation for cement 
  • March 19th........................ Frames installed and set 
  • March 26th........................ Cement for Mikvahs poured 
  • March 27th........................ Frames removed from Mikvahs 
  • April 1st - 20th................... Plumbing lines and electrical lines installed
  • April 20th..........................  Cement poured for floor
  • April 22nd.......................... Frame for building starts to go up
  • April 26th........................... Frame is finished, construction of building begins
  • May 5th............................. Internal construction continues
  • May 8th............................. Work on the roof
  • May 11th........................... Building base walls and doors / construction of Keilim Mikvah
  • May 14th........................... Preparation for stucco application to outside of building
  • May 26th............................Drywall installed
  • May 27th............................Exterior stucco applied 
  • June 5th.............................Spackle applied to interior walls 
  • June 10th...........................Exterior stucco finished
  • June 11th............................Interior work continues
  • June 12th...........................Exterior steps built
  • June 14th...........................Interior steps for Mikvah built
  • June 16th...........................Cement poured for interior Mikvah steps 
  • June 24th...........................Outside fencing and stair rails installed
  • July 10th.............................Phase One Complete
